World Harvest Church is a place where people are called, equipped, and released into meaningful ministry and leadership. Whether you are interested in an internship or exploring employment opportunities on staff, we invite you to consider joining a team that is passionate about God and compassionate toward people.

Serving at WHC is more than a role — it is a calling to live with integrity, walk in love, and set an example for others. Every leader, intern, and staff member is asked to uphold the same standards of conduct that guide our Pastoral Staff.

WHC Standard of Conduct for Leadership

The Pastoral Staff has signed and agreed to live by the following standards. We ask every leader and team member at World Harvest Church to conduct themselves according to the same commitments. Failure to follow these commitments may disqualify someone from serving in certain ministries.

“In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us”

Titus 2:7-8 (NIV)

Leadership Commitments

We choose to walk in love with fellow members and with outsiders. We choose to build good relationships, and to do nothing destructive to good relationships (including but not limited to lying, stealing, cursing, cheating, gossiping, divisiveness, or aggressive or violent behavior). We commit to build up members of WHC in our speech and in our actions, and to treat every person with respect and dignity at all times.

Both on and off campus. This includes illegal drugs, drunkenness, compulsive gambling, sexual activity outside the boundaries of marriage (including cohabitation), homosexual activity, or any criminal behavior. We also commit to refrain from gambling and viewing pornographic material, and we commit to live in a way that maintains a good reputation inside and outside the church.

We commit to display self-control in every area of life and to show the fruit of the Spirit in interactions with family, fellow church members, and the community at large.

We submit to the Pastor’s direction and to the ministry directors under whom we serve — abiding by the rules and policies of each department, speaking well of our leaders, and putting our hearts into the goals God has placed before us.

Based on the principles in 1 Corinthians 8, and for the sake of weaker brothers and sisters, leadership at WHC prefers that leaders refrain from consuming alcohol and tobacco. The Pastoral Staff refrains from both. As individuals step into higher levels of ministry responsibility, pastoral leadership may ask them to follow these same principles regarding cultural matters such as alcohol and tobacco.
