Steps to Getting Married at World Harvest Church

Congratulations on your engagement! We rejoice with you as you prepare for a lifelong covenant built on faith, love, and God’s grace. It is our honor to walk alongside you and help make your wedding day a beautiful expression of His goodness.

To be married at WHC, we require the following:

  1. Both individuals must be active WHC members.
  2. Premarital counseling must be completed with the officiating pastor or elder.

Once the minister approves your wedding date, you will be assigned a WHC wedding coordinator who will guide you through each step and communicate details with our internal teams. If you do not hear from your coordinator within two weeks, please reach out.

Important Information

Please read through each section below carefully.

We encourage you to meet with your officiating minister early in your planning process. A wedding date cannot be confirmed until one of our pastors approves it.

Any of our pastors and elders are available to officiate your wedding, depending on their availability for your chosen date. A list of pastors and elders is available upon request.

If you have not completed the Membership Class, please plan to attend the next session. Check the Become a Member page for more details.

World Harvest Church conducts weddings as a ministry to our members. To ensure your day is meaningful and well-supported, please note the following:

  • Both the bride and groom must be official WHC members and regular attendees.
  • Couples participate in premarital counseling with one of our Marriage Ministry couples.
  • The wedding director, Debi Ledford, will confirm your wedding date once pastoral approval is received.
  • Each couple is assigned a WHC wedding coordinator to assist with planning.
  • Please notify the wedding director promptly if your wedding is postponed or canceled.
  • Outside ministers may officiate only with advance approval from a WHC pastor.
  • No pets, rice or birdseed, smoking, or alcohol are permitted inside or outside WHC facilities.
  • We cannot guarantee officiate availability for off-site or destination weddings. 

Our wedding fees include services necessary to support a smooth and joyful ceremony, including your WHC coordinator, sound and lighting technicians, custodial care, maintenance, heating/cooling, setup, and takedown. Couples are responsible for their own decorations.

  • Ceremony fees typically range from $800 to $1000.
  • Minister honorariums are given at the couple’s discretion.
  • We can provide a list of auxiliary service vendors, i.e., photographer, videographer, decorating, catering, specialized technical help, and additional wedding coordinators.

We offer the option of a simple cake-and-coffee reception on campus. You provide all refreshments and are responsible for setup and cleanup. Any reception requiring additional food, table seating, or entertainment must be held off campus.
