Bringing the Hope, Truth, and Transforming Love of God
Our Prison Ministry is dedicated to bringing the hope, truth, and transforming love of God to incarcerated men and women across our region. Every month, our teams lead heartfelt services that remind these men and women they are not forgotten — that God sees them, loves them, and can write a new story for their lives.
With more than 50,000 men currently incarcerated in the state of Georgia, with the greatest concentration in the Atlanta and North Georgia area (Georgia Department of Corrections), the need for encouragement, prayer, and spiritual support is great, and every visit makes a meaningful impact.
Ways to Serve
- Drivers – Help transport team members safely to and from ministry locations.
- Team Members – Participate in services, share God’s Word, pray with inmates, and offer genuine encouragement.
Requirements
Church membership – Suggested, but not required.
Background check and fingerprinting – Required.
Commitment – Serve once per month and be part of a ministry that brings light, dignity, and hope where it’s needed most.
