Street Ministry that Brings the Hope of Jesus
StreetReach brings the hope and message of Jesus directly to at-risk children in Roswell, Sandy Springs, and downtown Atlanta. In the greater Atlanta and North Georgia area, more than 120,000 children are identified as at-risk each year (Georgia Department of Education), highlighting the urgent need for consistent, Christ-centered support. Our program reaches kids ages 4–12 during a crucial stage of development, offering encouragement, truth, and a safe place to experience God’s love.
Held for twelve weeks each spring and fall, StreetReach meets on Fridays and Saturdays to connect with children right where they are, in their neighborhoods, at bus stops, and in community gathering spaces.
Ways to Serve
- Site Pastor – Leads the program, message, prayer, and spiritual encouragement for children at each location.
- Registration – Welcomes families and checks in children to ensure a safe, organized experience.
- Truck Loaders – Prepare and load supplies, equipment, and materials needed for each outreach site.
- Truck Drivers – Drive the specialized StreetReach trucks to the assigned sites.
- Bus Stop Helpers – Connect with children at neighborhood bus stops and invite them to participate.
- Game & Tarp Workers – Create a fun, engaging environment through games and activities that help kids feel welcomed and valued.
Requirements
Church membership – Suggested, but not required.
Background check – Required.
Commitment – Serve 2 hours per week for 6 weeks and help plant seeds of hope in the hearts of children who need it most.
