We conduct funerals for all current WHC members, current regular attenders and their immediate family members.
At this sensitive time, our dedicated team of ministers is here to support and guide you through the process of honoring your loved one’s memory. We introduce you to our esteemed ministers available for our funeral services: Pastor Mirek Hufton, Pastor Linda Hufton, Pastor Chris Hufton, and Pastor Willie Russell. Their comforting presence ensures that your service is conducted with utmost care.
We understand the importance of creating a meaningful farewell. To accommodate your needs, we kindly request scheduling the memorial service within our weekday hours: from 12 noon to 4 pm, on Mondays through Fridays. Our team is fully staffed during these times to ensure a seamless experience. While most services take place in our main sanctuary, we offer the option of smaller ceremonies in the Fellowship Hall and the Funeral Home’s chapel.
Upon request, our team can craft an 8 ½ x 11 foldable program on regular copy paper featuring a cover photo of your choice. Up to 200 copies of this program are our gift to you. Alternatively, you are welcome to create your own program that resonates with your unique vision.
In preparation for the memorial service, the officiating minister will meet with your family 15 minutes before the service in the warm embrace of the Fellowship Hall. You can select the family members and close friends who will join this intimate moment together. These individuals are selected at the start of the service. The service will commence promptly as scheduled.
We provide a sample program to help you design a service that truly reflects your loved one’s life. It serves as a foundation, open to personalization that captures their essence and legacy.
Our commitment extends beyond the service itself. For gatherings without internment, we offer attendees coffee and cookies in our lobby as a comforting gesture. Following the internment or the main reception, we extend an invitation for a meal in our Fellowship Hall, accommodating 30 people from your family.
Every detail is considered, including the auditory and visual aspects. Our skilled Sound and Video Technicians are at your service for daytime funerals, ensuring that every word and memory is preserved with the utmost clarity. If musical tributes are desired, our offerings include a keyboardist.
Your guests’ support is invaluable. To facilitate their expressions of sympathy, we provide a dedicated basket in the lobby for cards and condolences, fostering an atmosphere of care and understanding.
During this time of remembrance, we extend our heartfelt support and guidance, ensuring that your loved one’s memory is honored with the warmth and care they deserve.
